I’m Dan, the maker behind Piedmont Prototype. I create practical things that not only look good but are built to work even better. My background spans 3D design, resin and FDM printing, 3D printer repair, light fabrication and welding, RC repair (Traxxas, DJI, Arrma, Losi), small-engine service, and constant tinkering with all things automotive and motorcycle.

Based in the Lake Norman area (Mooresville/Charlotte, NC), I blend modern CAD design and 3D printing with hands-on shop skills to deliver parts and projects that fit, function, and last.
